Just like i said before, the bells has started to ring and this shouldn't be new to you. Months back, Messaging giant, Whatsapp, in a bid to win more customer had to make a very drastic decision. The decision was simple to cut down on some old devices and low end devices.

What does this mean?

This simply implies that specific kinds of phones will not support whatsapp messenger any more.

This has now been taken serious by some telecommunications brand.

Like our forefathers would say: When you push a goat to the wall, don't be surprised when it turns back to bite.

I'm not calling yall goats, No Sir.. But in reverse, nothing can really be done. You can either switch to a new device or quit whatsapp. Fin.

Now, for those using the blackberry 10 devices, here's a quick tip.

Obviously, whatsapp won't be available for your device dont forget, its a blackberry 10 phone.. Ding Ding! Right?

Once you have the latest operating system installed, you can install the .apk version of whatsapp.

And there we still have BB10 users rocking it. Hehe..

So down to the business of the day. You know i will always add a little extra before hitting the nail on the head...oya knack am! Lol.

So many users of the favourite green app, whatsapp have been used to the formerly introduced voice calls which can be done via the app.

You haven't tested it?



Its ok though cause am sure the video option will make you wanna test both new features.

So, few weeks ago, the messaging app released a beta version (na better me dey call am) of the app which included the video call option. Isn't this super?

Basically, thats it! Yippee.. What you waiting for? Go ahead and try the new version of whatsapp....

The Rise And Rise Of Whatsapp

Hey friends,

Its no longer news that social media platform 'BBM' is beginning to witness a sharp decline when it comes to usage.



When this messaging app showed up in the first place, nobody could do without it. Having a blackberry (BB) pin was efficient and sufficient.
I recall when the notification tone for BBM would make everyone wanna steal your Blackberry. Lol.

Everyone would just stare at you like....




Not just the tone alone, nope. Have you forgotten about the crescent? Oh yes, that's what its called.



That red star sign that stays at the corner of your messaging app to know that you have a new message.

There's always that nostalgic feeling when you tend to do a flashback about blackberries.

I feel personally, that the very moment BBM decided to branch out was the very they decided to shoot their selves in the foot. No offence but how could one make available to all the one thing that makes it unique?

Its just crazy. Anyway, now we all see the results. The users of blackberry are reducing every time.

My personal distaste about the app is, its become slow and there are ads here and there. I mean, making your selling point public is not just enough? But making ads present there too? Haba!




Now back to the topic.

Whatsapp has been flourishing over time this was a messaging app, 'once upon a time' nobody wanted to use. The story has now changed. Everybody, and i mean everybody is on whatsapp. BBM comes in as an alternative.

Whatsapp messaging platform has never offered any form of ads since the day i have known it.

Also, the app tends to become useful every time. They was no option to send files like pdf and ms word docs but now it has.

What i am trying to say in essence is that, whatsapp has always been out their every since it has been known and for many reason, i don't think any other app can take over it.

Some apps like Telegram will fade away as soon as whatsapp comes in with more features.
